Dublin Tour Guide is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to parts of the available standards and guidelines.

The following are some of the things that we have implemented to support accessibility:

The following are some shortfalls we will work on to improve:

       Best Walking Tour in Years
Prior to this tour, I had all but given up on walking tours—I’ve just been disappointed so many times by walking tours that lacked historical depth and nuance. This tour restored my faith in them. Garvan fully delivered on a superb overview of Irish history (such as one can learn it in the course of ~4 hours), replete with historical detail and nuance, and his enthusiasm for the subject matter and love of Ireland is contagious. 10/10 would recommend.

      Very pleasant and informative Guide
If you are really interested in Dublin and the real history of Ireland then this is what you want. Our guide John was not only professional, but a fine example of what’s great about Ireland- pride in country. We obtained a respect and deep understanding of all the aspects of present day Ireland and also ancient history. A lot to digest but he was clear and concise and being from Dublin helped.

      Super Fun Pub Tour

      Perfect Tour
Taking a walking tour of Dublin with John was an absolute pleasure.  He has the most amusing way of sharing his wealth of knowledge.  History becomes more than a story on paper and his quirky details about some of history’s most well known characters round out the experience.

      Incredible private tour with John!
This was the BEST tour we have ever had! Our guide, John C, made our entire trip to Dublin! We have traveled the world and have gone on so many private tours and this one took the cake! John is a historian with such a lively way to share his wealth of information. His stories made history come alive. We are still giggling over some of his stories and the memories will last us a lifetime. He is simply the best.

      The Tour that Doesn't Make You Feel Like a Tourist
My wife and I recently relocated to Dublin, and we wanted to get our bearings and learn about our new home. So during October break we jumped on the DART with our two, somewhat reluctant teenagers and met Garvan in the City Center for a three-hour walking tour. What a great experience! Garvan is amazing. He is a knowledgable, passionate, and gifted storyteller who brought Dublin's history to life for us. What's more he won over our kids by engaging them directly and treating them like adults. By the time the tour was over we felt more at home in our adopted city, and we felt like we had made a friend. We would highly recommend the experience to anyone who wants the immersive experience of a tour without the large group dynamic.It was a great way to spend the day.

      Excellent and lively Dublin walking tour
Our guide, Carl, really made our experience of Dublin come alive; he was incredibly well informed and passionate regarding the history of Ireland. Carl was also very flexible on the day of our tour - he did a bit of mix and match, according to what we were especially interested to see/hear about.

      Excellent trip around Dublin
Our guide John Caffrey was a complete wealth of knowledge, all explained with great enthusiasm and humour. Our tour not only took in the great city of Dublin, it's history, both ancient and more recent but also brought clarity to some of the English language's popular expressions as well as important historic events that shaped the city and country. 
The tour was very complete and I would not hesitate this guide. He will be part of your positive experience of Dublin.

      Great way to get a first impression of Dublin
My sister and I had a wonderful time exploring Dublin for the first time with our excellent guide John Caffrey. He is passionate about the city and has a vast knowledge of the history, (fun) facts and anecdotes that are part of Dublin.
We learned a lot and recommend everyone to book this tour. 
He told everything with so much enthusiasm, even the rain didn’t bother us.
