Most visitors to Dublin book just one tour. And while that will give you a great introduction to the city, it only scratches the surface.
Dublin reveals itself in layers. The stories, the characters, the culture—they become far more meaningful when you experience them over time, not all at once.
That’s why we strongly recommend pairing two tours across two days: one to see the city, and another to explore it more deeply.
Think of it this way: your first tour gives you the full picture. Your second brings it into focus—through a particular theme, setting, or experience. Together, they create something far more memorable, immersive, and complete.
Your first day is all about orientation. You’ll experience one of our main sightseeing tours, giving you a comprehensive overview of Dublin—its history, culture, and key sites.
This is where everything begins. With an expert guide bringing the city to life, you’ll gain the context, stories, and local insight that make the rest of your time in Dublin far more meaningful. By the end of the tour, you won’t just have “seen” Dublin—you’ll understand it. Choose from our signature tours, which vary by duration: 3hrs, 5hrs or 8hrs.
On your second day, you’ll explore a specific side of Dublin based on your interests.
Having already covered the highlights, this is your chance to dive deeper—whether that’s through museums, pub culture, or a coastal walk in Howth. The experience is more focused, more immersive, and often more personal. Your guide will build on what you’ve already learned, creating a natural continuation rather than a separate experience. If you’d like to see the full list of possible themed tours, see our Bespoke Tours.
Of course, this is your trip—so the order can be reversed.
If you’re arriving into Dublin later in the day, it might make more sense to start with something like a pub tour, and then follow it up with a sightseeing tour the next day. We can even push the start time a little later than usual… for obvious reasons!
If your itinerary allows, a driving tour on Day 2 or 3 provides an excellent complement, adding depth and variety to your time in Ireland.
