Believe it or not, Dublin has quite a lot of great places to eat and drink. Whether it’s high-end dining, ambient cocktail bars, specialty coffee, artisanal supermarkets, or just a quick lunch, Dublin delivers. 

Only thirty years ago, the choices were very limited, but Dublin has blossomed into a fantastically cosmopolitan city with an exciting choice of places to eat and drink.

There are new museums and attractions, great outings for families, shows, plays, live music and so much more. Seaside towns like Howth are just a 20 minute train ride away and the wild mountains of Wicklow await the ever more adventurous.

Stay in Dublin

Dublin was suffering from a shortage of hotel rooms until quite a few started to sprout up from 2020-2022. The choice remains difficult, so we’d like to tell you of some really special places that you’ll actually remember staying in.

A hotel that is ‘fine’ might tick the box, especially if you’d like to spend as much time as you can outside of the hotel, but if you want to stay in a place that has a lot of interesting history to it, or is stylistically quirky, or is owned by a charming family, be sure to check out our suggestions.
